JAMIE Hyde has handed Malvern Town a boost by agreeing to stay with the club until the end of the season.
The midfielder and club captain has turned down offers from Bromsgrove Rovers and Stourport Swifts to help Malvern in their bid to stave off British Gas Business Division One Midlands relegation.
However, Hyde will miss Saturday's trip to Sutton Coldfield Town (3pm) along with Joel Skyers as they both serve one-match bans.
New defensive recruits Matt Morris, Adam Harris and Dave Cannon are all set to continue in the side.
They will be joined by full-back Danny Moon and striker Chris Allen, who have joined from Bishops Cleeve and Bromyard respectively.
Malvern have not won in their last 11 matches and conceded a late leveller in last Saturday's 2-2 draw with basement boys Berkhamsted.
Boss Joe Rawle said: "We should have beaten Berkhamsted. We battered them in the second-half but it was just a silly bit of play that gave them a goal at the end. It was a bit of inexperience I think.
"Sutton are third in the table. We have just got to go out there, be positive and have a go at them."
