STOURPORT Swifts boss Neil Hunt hopes Barton Rovers' dismal run in 2008 will continue when they come to Walshes Meadow tomorrow (3pm).

The Bedfordshire outfit have yet to win a match since the turn of the year and have conceded seven goals in their last two games.

Swifts, meanwhile, are in the midst of a fine run which has seen them unbeaten in their last four outings.

"I'm not sure that Barton's run is a good thing or not, but we are growing in confidence and we will look to get another three points," Hunt said.

The Walshes Meadow chief believes the side now has his stamp on it after fielding seven players brought to the club since his tenure started in mid-December.

Hunt is hoping to have two more fresh faces for tomorrow's British Gas Business Division One Midlands clash.

The Swifts manager is awaiting international clearance from the Football Association of Wales for Steve Towers from Welsh Premiership side Airbus UK.

The midfielder is studying at the University of Worcester along with fellow new Swift Shane Gill, who made his debut last weekend in the 1-1 draw at Rushall Olympic.

Hunt is also planning to capture forward Dean Roberts from Malvern Town but looks to have missed out on signing the Langland Stadium skipper Jamie Hyde.

Swifts will be without Justin Ballinger (knee cartilage) and Adam Robinson (two-match ban).

But 18-year-old Will Gaton, who has been playing for Midland Combination outfit Littleton, will be in contention for a place in the squad.
