OUR match at Saracens last weekend was a disappointing performance and eveyone was very frustrated after the game.
To play the way we had in beating Bristol the week before, it was massively disappointing for us to follow that up with such a poor display against Saracens.
We have looked at the video of the game and singled out where we went wrong and I am sure they are all things we can put right.
Defensively we didn't quite get things right and our structures weren't quite where they should have been. That had an effect on our game and a number of small margins went against us and cost us the match. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience.
Towards the end of the match, we started to raise the tempo and we looked a lot more threatening but, on the whole when we got hold of the ball, we didn't look after it well enough.
Probably the most frustrating thing was that Saracens will admit they weren't at their best either. We have to take advantage when the teams we are playing aren't at their best, we didn't do that and we can't afford to not take those kind of chances.
When I was sin-binned, I felt it was a bit harsh because, in my opinion, the ball had popped out of the ruck. However, those are the kind of decisions that go against you when you are under pressure and Saracens were forcing us to defend on our line.
I can't blame the referee, though. I felt the ball was out and he thought otherwise - it was just one of those things.
The fact they scored while we were down to 14 men and we didn't when they had a man in the bin was probably what cost us any chance of winning the game.
All of our points came from Loki Crichton's boot and, although he has had a difficult couple of weeks, I have no doubt whatsoever he'll be back to his best soon.
He is a world-class goal-kicker and everyone goes through patches when they are more confident than at other times, but I have complete faith in Loki.
Despite the Saracens defeat, the mood in our camp is certainly that we can beat any team in the league. We obviously don't expect to win every game we play, but we know we are capable of beating anybody.
Going to Harlequins on Saturday will be a tough test for us, but they will be missing a few players because of the Six Nations. We are full of confidence though, especially because we won at The Stoop in the EDF Cup earlier this season.
When Quins won at Sixways in December, they were very physical up front and that is something we are prepared for and looking forward to matching.
We know that the first thing we have to do is get on top up front, then we will be able to provide some quality ball for the half-backs to get us going.
The half-backs often get criticised, but it is up to us forwards to set good platforms for them and take the pressure off.
