GOALS from Chris Perry and Joel Langley helped Worcester Men's Firsts end their three-game losing streak.

Worcester won 2-0 at bottom-of-the-table Bridgnorth in the BodyKraft Midlands Premier Division.

In a good start, Perry fired wide and Bridgnorth's keeper produced a series of excellent saves.

But Worcester went into the interval level and needed the spurring team-talk from boss Paul Merrell.

Quickly after the break, debutant Alex Johnson squared the ball past a stranded keeper from a penalty corner for Perry to deflect over the line.

Man-of-the-match Alex Kotlarzewski controlled the midfield with flair and expansive passing.

Kotlarzewski was at the heart of a move which resulted in Langley scoring his last goal for the club before returning home to Australia.

Fine saves from Worcester keeper Chris Thomas ensured they recorded their second clean sheet of the season.

Worcester Seconds cemented their West Midlands Premier automatic promotion place with a 3-0 win over Bridgnorth.

Chris Miles bagged an easy tap-in and Worcester relaxed at 2-0 before Mark Richardson sealed their excellent win.

Worcester Thirds started brightly but fell 5-0 at well-drilled Beeston in the Midlands Premier.

Worcester kept going and created chances but Beeston's superior fitness told as they bagged two late goals.

Alex Kaoda and Rob Bonham excelled in the visitors' back-line.

The fourths produced a superb display to hold high-flying Nottingham 1-1 in the Midlands Premier.

From the start, Worcester were under the kosh with wave after wave of pressure.

Hughes pulled off fine saves and Worcester were awarded a penalty corner which Paul Sharratt took with a venomous shot.

On the rebound, a Notts players deliberately kicked the ball and skipper Phil Jones dispatched the penalty flick to equalise.

Stourport pulled one back with an individual effort.
