BOTTOM-of-the-table Bromyard Town's poor form continued with a 2-0 home defeat to Ludlow Town.
In the West Midlands League Premier Division, the two sides contested a fairly even first-half.
But Ludlow looked more dangerous on the break in the second period and went ahead with a well-taken goal on the hour.
Ten minutes later, Ludlow went 2-0 up to seal a deserved victory with Bromyard looking to be running on empty.
Steve Hawkes nearly scored a consolation goal though with a header just going over the crossbar. A goal would have capped a fine debut for Hawkes' new club.
Meanwhile, Chris Mortlock ended his scoring drought to earn Pegasus Juniors a 2-0 win over Abingdon Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
The home side had the majority of play in the first-half but the visitors forced their way back and looked more likely to score.
However, Mortlock found the net twice in six minutes - his first goals since late November - to end a run of 11 games without a win. The game began with a minute's silence to mark the death of former Pegasus player Mark Preece.
Keith Jones, in his first start for the club, hit the post early on but Pegasus could not make the most of their chances.
Home keeper James Morgan was forced into three excellent saves after the break before Mortlock fired home a Cory Hyde pass on 73 minutes.
Six minutes later, a Morgan clearance was missed by the defence and Mortlock netted again.
