WORCESTER Wolves saw victory snatched from them in the final minute against Plymouth Raiders.
Wolves were leading 85-84 with 60 seconds to go at the University of Worcester but ended up being edged out 92-87.
The win saw Raiders completed a clean sweep of three victories over Wolves this season.
Head coach Skouson Harker said: "We have to address the mistakes that cost us at a critical stage of the game."
Director of Basketball Mick Donovan added: "It has to go down as one of the most frustrating performances of the season.
"We demonstrated some great character and fight to claw our way back into the game. Yet once again poor decision making at critical stages of the game gave Plym-outh the win.
"The challenge of reaching the play-offs is now a tougher one but I am still convinced that, with the individuals we have at the Wolves this year, we can still make our mark at this level.
"We now go into a key stage of the season as everyone is scrambling for the play-off positions and we have to start delivering at both ends of the court again."
A dramatic BBL encounter saw the lead change hands throughout the game.
James Life returned to the Wolves line-up after not travelling to Newcastle for the previous evening's 92-84 loss and was still suffering from a serious chest infection.
The opening quarter against Plymouth was played at a furious pace with both teams scoring freely.
Once again Anthony Paez, who top-scored with 26 points at Newcastle, was the main threat and hit two three-pointers in a 12-point total in the opening spell. The quarter ended with the Raiders leading 26 -22.
The second period saw Wol-ves take the initiative. Life hit 10 points and was supported offensively by Harker and Paez as the Wolves raced into a 49-48 lead.
The third quarter saw the Wolves experience what is now a familiar offensive collapse at this stage of the game.
Some fine link play between Chuck Evans and Shaun Durant offered some resistance but the Raiders took an 11-point lead into the final quarter.
The home crowd got behind the Wolves as they came out for the final period and the players responded magnificently as Life, Paez and Evans applied some great pressure on the Raiders' guards that resulted in some key turnovers.
Michael Gayle hit a telling three-pointer and Life and Paez were effective on the break to edge Wolves 85-84 ahead with one minute remaining.
Once again Durant was outstanding when rebounding against the bigger Plymouth forwards.
Wolves clearly needed to ret-ain possession as the Raiders chased the game.
However, the ball was turned over after a Harker travel and some careless passing saw the visitors take the lead and hold out for victory.
Paez top-scored with 29 points.
