RICHARD Dryden insists Worcester City need to cut out the silly mistakes if they are to take three points from today's home match against Hucknall Town (3pm).

City have drawn their last two matches at St George's Lane, coming back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Workington and Blyth Spartans.

A failure to clear their lines from a long throw-in and a poor Jon Munday back-pass, which led to Blyth's penalty on the stroke of half-time, proved City's undoing last weekend.

Dryden, who believes such lapses have cost Worcester four points over the two games, wants an improvement today.

"We sat down and had a chat about it after the game last Saturday," the manager said.

"The squad were not happy and I wasn't happy about the goals we conceded.

"We weren't really cut open badly, it's just at set-plays, so defensively we are not looking too bad although we can be a lot better."

The annual general meeting of the Worcester City FC Supporters Trust takes place after the Hucknall match this evening.

It will be held in the Harry Knowles Suite at 5pm.
