DROITWICH A' cruised to a five-wicket win over Avoncroft in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League. Avoncroft posted 96-6 with Mark Whitehead top scoring with 35 not out. In reply, Gareth Thomas (23no) and Steve Walsh (20no) inspired Droitwich to victory.
Cutnall Green comfortably saw off Worcester Nomads Academy, beating them by 52 runs. Green rattled up 146-5 with Neil Fletcher smashing an impressive unbeaten 70, while Matt Harris claimed two Nomad wickets.
Rushwick crashed to a 56-run defeat at the hands of The Fossils. The victors posted 112-4 with Martin Woodward 40no and, with the ball, he took one wicket.
Worcester eased their way to a one-wicket win over Colwall. James Wagstaff (3-3) helped restrict Colwall to 67-6 before Oli Peppiatt (22no) and James Padden (23no) led Worcester home.
