KIDDERMINSTER crashed to a five wicket defeat at Halesowen in the Birmingham League Premier One last weekend.
Once again, Kidderminster failed to put enough runs on the board after being removed for 169 all out.
Former Worcestershire opening bat Matt Pardoe made top score of 31 but wickets fell at regular intervals.
Buckinghamshire Minor Counties bowler Ed Bragg did most of the damage by taking five for 44.
Bragg also made an impact with the bat when Halesowen replied.
Liam Weston had caused some initial damage by taking three for 53 as Halesowen reached 53 for three.
But a fourth wicket partnership of 67 before former Worcester player Alexei Kervezee and Bragg swung the game in Halesowen's favour.
Kervezee cracked 59 not out while Bragg added a further 33 as Halesowen coasted to a winning 170 for five with plenty of overs to spare.
Kidderminster have now slipped down to eighth place in Premier One and will need to halt the slide this Saturday when they host Kenilworth Wardens at Chester Road.
Second placed Barnt Green suffered a seven wicket beating against a star-studded Ombersley side.
The Green took first strike and were soon struggling at 47 for four, which included the loss of Worcestershire's Ed Pollock for 10.
Skipper Dom Harding came to the rescue by compiling 91, but lacked support as the Green were dismissed for 186 in the 54th over.
Former County player George Panayi posed considerable problems with the ball as he bagged outstanding figures of six for 33 off 11.1 overs.
Gareth Andrew also grabbed a couple of wickets taking two for 38 while Elliot Mason managed to take two for 29.
Ombersley's batting line up in reply looked awesome with current Worcestershire players Taylor Cornell, Josh Dell, Jack Haynes and county skipper Brett D'Oliveira all available.
In the event, opening bat Cornell anchored the innings by carrying his bat for 75 not out while Nick Hammond with 43 and Liam Gwynne on 47 not out supplied the remaining runs after Dell and Haynes had fallen cheaply.
Strike bowler Andy Sutton managed to snap up a couple of early wickets to claim two for 26, taking his tally to 41 so far for the season.
The Green host Moseley this Saturday while Halesowen head for bottom of the table Shrewsbury.
HIMLEY took a right hammering as they lost to Barnards Green by 206 runs in Premier Two.
Runs flowed as Barnards Green compiled a total of 278 for seven.
Ryan Tongue reeled off 50 before Phil Harris took over and clubbed a further 83.
James Lunn proved the pick of Himley's attack by taking four for 75 while Northamptonshire's Graeme White proved expensive with figures of two for 88.
Himley then found themselves skittled out for just 72 runs in reply.
Worcestershire prospect Zain Ul Hassan caused most of the damage by taking five for 17 off 10 overs, ably back up by Phil Harris with four for 13 off eight.
Bromsgrove also suffered a beating when losing to Bridgnorth by seven wickets.
Skipper Alex Milton led from the front as the wicketkeeper walloped top score of 74 as Bromsgrove posted a total of 192 all out.
But Bridgnorth chased that total down to reach 193 for three with 10 overs to spare.
Sam Whitney with 62 and Ryan Lockley on 52 led the charge although Mark Meacham did manage to pick up the three wickets to fall when taking three for 53 off 12 overs.
Himley hope to bounce back this Saturday when they host Bromsgrove at Stourbridge Road.
