STOURPORT Swifts boss Neil Hunt is looking to use Saturday's trip to Rushall Olympic as a benchmark to see how far his side have come since he took up the reins in December.

Hunt's first game in charge of the Walshes Meadow side was against the Walsall-based outfit and while Stourport only lost 2-0, the new manager knew that his squad was in dire need of a massive overhaul.

Slowly but surely the Swifts boss has done that and Saturday's British Gas Business Division One Midlands clash at Dales Lane (3pm) is a chance for his side to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches.

And while Hunt was disappointed with the goalless draw at basement boys Berkhamsted Town on Tuesday night he was not overly concerned.

"We could still be there now and we probably still wouldn't have scored," rued Hunt.

"It was one of those games. We were camped in their half for most of the second half but we created very little and to be honest they weren't as bad as I thought that they would be.

"Rushall I believe will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season so this will be a good benchmark to see how far we have come."

Hunt has no fresh injury doubts for the trip to Rushall with Craig Webb still out with shoulder trouble.

The Swifts boss is hoping to add to his side before tomorrow's match.
