THERE was some confusion on social media as to the status of Fin Smith on Tuesday night after the Worcester fly-half was pulled out ahead of England U20s Summer Series clash with Italy.
20-year-old Smith was confirmed on the teamsheet at outside-half only an hour before kick-off but it was apparent in the opening minutes that Smith was not on the pitch in Treviso.
is he injured? i could've sworn he was supposed to be playing but i can't see him

Over an hour ago confirmed as the fly-half but nothing since.

Must be an injury. https://t.co/V5BmKxRQBV
The commentator even used Smith's name a couple of times early on before noting that the Warriors star was in fact not playing due to an injury.
Italy went on to win the match 38-31 to secure third place in the Under-20 Six Nations Summer Series.
Smith was seen in the stands in the first-half, dressed in shorts and an England polo top. The youngster did suffer an injury in the win over France earlier in the competition.
Worcester Warriors have not yet had any confirmation from the England camp. The Worcester News has contacted the RFU and are awaiting an update on the situation.
