WORCESTER Men's Thirds crashed to a 6-1 defeat at home to Birmingham University in the BodyKraft Midlands Premier Division.
The hosts started brightly, passing well down the channels, and they took the lead when Simon Dorrell played a neat one-two with John Senior before lifting the ball into the neat.
In the second half the thirds were overrun by the university as they went on to score six.
The sixths were held to a 1-1 draw with Olton fourths.
The game started well with Worcester gaining most of the possession which led to a number of half-chances for the hosts.
However, it was Olton who broke the deadlock after 25 minutes.
Worcester hit back early in the second-half with a goal from Crump.
The sevenths went down 4-2 at home to Old Halesonians.
P Crump fired Worcester into the lead, before J Kusch doubled it. However, minutes before the break Old Halesonians pulled one back.
Worcester started the second-half looking to increase their lead and had two shots cleared off the line.
The visitors drew level before going on to secure a hard-fought victory.
The Potters Badgers fell to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Stourport.
Stourport went ahead in the first-half when a shot from a short corner was deflected in from Ben Reddick's stick.
The score remained the same until midway through the second-half when Tom Dalton was called into action with a fine save but he could not prevent Ben Cocoran from netting the rebound.
The visitors sealed victory with a superb goal from Josh Hopkins, but Jake Glass grabbed Worcester's only score after some good work from Ollie Barlett.
The Pippins cruised to a 6-0 win over Streetly having dominating the match from the start.
Worcester took the lead through a Mattt Ramsay fifth-minute goal and he doubled the advantage minutes later.
Ben Cooke drilled home a fine effort to send the Pippins 3-0 up. Just before half-time James Bullock took his chance to add the fourth.
Streetly changed formation and the game became more even with Worcester finding it difficult to retain their dominance. But two more goals from Cooke saw him complete his hat-trick and a fine win.
