WORCESTER City have retained the services of midfield maestro Billy Shaw for next season after the former Halesowen Town man signed for the club on a permanent basis.
Shaw, who scored six goals in 22 appearances for City in the 2021/22 campaign, was on loan from Halesowen for the entirety of last year but has now committed fully to Worcester ahead of the new season.
Shaw was a regular for City in the attacking midfield area and provided a team-high nine assists, despite missing the final few months through injury.
"Everyone at the club is absolutely delighted Billy has committed his future to ourselves, he is another talented young man, very driven and has a good future in the game," said boss Harris.
"There is no doubt we missed his performances in the final few months of last season and also throughout the FA Vase competition, due to the ruling over loan players.
On joining City ahead of the new season, Billy said "I am delighted to be back at Worcester for this season.
"I really enjoyed my time here last season and it is great to be back! I can’t wait to get back playing down Claines and seeing all of the fans again. Up the City!"
