Worcester Raiders have taken over Worcester City FC's Veterans sides that play in the Worcestershire FA's over 50s League.
Martin Winter will manage the overall running of both sides and he cannot wait to get started.
"Here at Worcester Raiders we are looking at engaging even more with the local community through football," said Winter.
"We are looking forward to getting going and inviting more vets to come and play football.
"We encourage everyone who is interested in playing to get in touch and join us."
Worcester City's Vets came 10th or 12 last season, winning just two of their eleven matches but will now become Worcester Raiders Vets.
Raiders Vets first friendly match will be at Sixways Stadium against a team from Welsh side Penybont on July 23, with a 12pm kick-off.
The Vets league is set-up for those players aged over 45 and the Worcestershire League has been running since 2016 and currently has eight teams.
Matches are 80 minutes and are arranged between teams at a time to suit both within a two week window.
