Worcester City young centre-half Josh Schuck has signed a new deal with the club to continue in the blue and white for another year.
Having broken through into the first team last season, Schuck became a mainstay in Tim Harris' squad until a bad injury away at Romulus in late October saw him out for a couple of months.
The 6ft 4 defender has transitioned into life in the Midland Football League seamlessly and finished the campaign strongly.
Manager Tim Harris believes Schuck has plenty of potential but wants to see him really kick on in the 2022/23 campaign.
"Many people talk about potential and Josh has it in an abundance," said Harris.
"Now is his time to realise it and to push on after his injury set back last season. He is another young man with good technical ability, tactically still has to learn certain parts of his game, but at 6ft 4 he has a big presence and we are looking forward to helping him develop."
The player added: "It’s great to be staying at Worcester City. It's a great bunch of lads, as well as all the staff and fans. Hopefully, this season we can push on and win some trophies."
