WORCESTER City have retained the services of former Cheltenham Town and Gloucester City striker Bobbie Dale for the upcoming season.
Following a horror tackle in pre-season last summer, Dale missed the entirety of the 2021/22 campaign having only been signed a few weeks prior.
Dale watched City from the sidelines until a brief cameo in the Worcestershire Senior Cup Final defeat against Pershore Town towards the end of the season.
The club were extremely careful during Dale's rehabilitation after such a horrific break of the leg but he is now fully fit and raring to go.
"After a frustrating year watching from the sidelines, I can’t wait to be back on the pitch and playing in front of our fans this coming season," he said.
Manager Tim Harris is a huge fan of Dale's and has spoken on many occasions of his disappointment to not have him available last season.
But now the boss has him for another year and he could not be more pleased.
"I am thrilled and excited with the signing of Bobbie Dale. What a character - He has shown tremendous strength after many a set back," he said.
"Bobbie has great all-round ability, is strong and also another very popular member of the squad. No one will be more pleased than me to see Bobbie scoring goals again, and I am sure The Faithful will all wish him the best of luck for the coming campaign."
