WORCESTER Raiders have signed a second defender from their new Hellenic Premier rivals Malvern Town ahead of the new 2022/23 season.
Following last week's announcement that Raiders have been promoted from Step 6 and into Step 5 for the first time, the club have recruited centre-half James Timmins from Malvern.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at the club, from the players, management and the fans for making me and my Nan feel so welcome at the club! We both have only good words to say about everyone associated with MTFC! Wish you all the best for next season! #UTT❤️

The sturdy defender follows Jay Sauntson to Sixways after both confirmed their switch to The Hillsiders' new rivals.
Timmins came through the ranks at Stourbridge and has also played for Worcester City and Stourport Swifts in recent years.
Alongside Sauntson, Timmins will come into a back-line that has lost Jordan and Logan Stoddart following the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign.
The ex-Malvern duo will also join up with former Hillsider Joe Billingham under Karl Gormley at Worcester.
