FORMER Droitwich Diamond Chelsea Weston is heading to Chile this half-term as England's squad begin preparations for November's FIFA Women's under 20s World Cup.
Right-back Weston, who lives in Worcester, started her career with the Droitwich junior side and has become a regular in Mo Marley's under 20s squad this season despite still qualifying for the under 17s.
The hard-tackling full-back, who plays for top-flight side Birmingham City Ladies, is part of Marley's 18-strong squad who will be in Chile - the venue for November's finals tournament - for a four-nations event.
England will play the USA on Monday, the hosts on Wednesday and Norway on Friday, with all of the matches being played at the Estadio La Portada in La Serena.
Weston will be back in time for her club's FA Cup quarter-final at all-conquering Arsenal a week on Sunday but the fixture - already held up once because of international commitments like Weston's - may be postponed again because team-mate Amy McCann is in the Northern Ireland squad for a European Championship qualifier in Spain.
