WORCESTER St John's Cycling Club's Steve Price finished in the leading group at the 19th Midlands Cyclo Sport Reliability Trial.
Ten club members turned out for the contest at Rushwick Village Hall on a cold, dull morning.
In total, 42 riders made their way around the 45-mile course to Tenbury Wells and back, taking on Rochford Bank.
Price finished in two hours and nine minutes aming fast company.
St John's Sean Dyson, Simon Garrett, Richard Graham, Ian Fagan, Steve Mahon, Jonathan Wheeler, Ed Dursley and John Clark all competed.
On Sunday, February 17, there is a Hereford reliability ride from 9.30am.
St John's also will be holding their annual bicycle jumble on Saturday at Christopher Whitehead Language College, Malvern Road.
Doors will open at 10am with the £1 admission going to the club.
There will be bicycles, parts, clothing and all sorts of trivia for sale.
Refreshments will be available.
