DESPITE reports on Tuesday, Scotland have not pinched Worcester Warriors' star fly-half Fin Smith from under the noses of England and Eddie Jones.
There was a suggestion Scotland were planning to call-up Smith, 19, for their summer tour of South America.
Smith, who qualifies for Scotland through a grandfather, was left out of England's recent training camp as Jones decided to go with youngsters Charlie Atkinson (Wasps) and Orlando Bailey (Bath) ahead of him.
19-year-old Smith broke onto the scene at the back end of last season and became the youngest ever Worcester player to start a Premiership game against Bath at The Rec in March 2021.
Smith starred for England under 20s last season and has gone on to be a revelation at Worcester in the past 12 months, nailing down the number ten spot in his position.
Worcester's Duhan van der Merwe and Rory Sutherland are in the squad.
Scotland will face a three-game series against Argentina and a second-string side will tackle Chile between the second and third test.
