CAPTAIN Daniel Holland produced a masterful knock as he carried the bat through Dumbleton’s innings to help them to an 82 run win over Tewkesbury last weekend in the West of England Premier Gloucestershire Division.
Holland ended on 179 not out and Nipun Haggalla added 56 runs from 57 deliveries as Dumbleton posted 321/6.
Holland and Haggalla then took three and four wickets respectively as hosts Tewkesbury were bowled out for 239 in reply.
In the Cotswold Hills League Premier, Bretforton were beaten by Wellesbourne.
Adrian Witts scored 81 for Bretforton as they posted 187/8 from their 45 overs.
But the visitors successfully chased down the score with four wickets to spare to stay top of the league.
James Kinder's century helped Pershore cement their place at the top of the Worcestershire County League Premier Division last weekend.
He scored 111 runs from 114 balls and put on a third wicket partnership of 171 with Liam Ridings, who fell just ten runs short of a ton himself before the league leaders declared on 290/4 after 45 overs.
Rob Cook posted 60 for Colwall in reply but Pershore made light work of the batting order as Khalid Baig took four wickets as the visitors were bowled out for 141.
Into Division Eight, Harvington thrashed Kidderminster 4XI by 155 runs to increase their lead at the top of the standings.
130 runs from captain Craig Witheford did the damage as the visitors posted 282/7 from 45 overs.
