OVER 10,000 tickets have been sold for next Tuesday’s Premiership Rugby Cup Final between London Irish and Worcester Warriors at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Almost five coaches have been filled to take supporters from Worcester to the game which sees Warriors in just their second ever top-flight final.
According to the club, 450 will make the trip to Brentford via coaches with others making their own way down.
There were calls for the game to be moved to a weekend in order for their to be more supporters of both clubs at the game but by all accounts, ticket sales have still been good all things considered.
The stadium holds a maximum capacity of 17,500 so the final, which will be live on BT Sport, is going to be well attended and should provide a fitting atmosphere.
Warriors have never won a top-flight trophy in their history but Tuesday represents a tough challenge against an inform London Irish outfit.
But the hosts will be without former Worcester man Agustin Creevy after the hooker received a ban for a week following an incident in Irish’s European Challenge Cup quarter-final defeat out in Toulon last weekend.
