KIDDERMINSTER Harriers rounded off a busy night on transfer deadline day by shipping out star striker James Constable and keeper Scott Bevan as well as right back Michael Blackwood.
The Harriers top scorer and number one custodian both headed off for League Two side Shrewsbury Town last night for undisclosed fees, while Blackwood joined Justin Richards at Blue Square Premier side Oxford United.
Both Constable and Bevan join the New Meadow side for undisclosed fees, while the full-back heads to the Kassam Stadium for the rest of the campaign.
But Yates finished the day by bringing back keeper Chris MacKenzie for the rest of the season in a permanent switch and young defender Luke Jones on a month's loan.
Both players have come from Shrewsbury and will join up with the Harriers squad today.
It was a busy day at Aggborough with skipper Stuart Whitehead being released from his contract before signing for Blue Square North side AFC Telford, while Yates earlier in the day had captured young Yeovil Town striker Darryl Knights and Wolverhampton Wanderers young midfielder Matt Bailey on loan for the rest of the season.
