MAX Malins scored four tries as a clinical Saracens cruised to victory over Worcester Warriors at Sixways on Saturday.
England winger Malins went over after just five minutes in the first-half and added three more in the second period as Saracens secured a bonus-point win to all but secure themselves a home semi-final in the Gallagher Premiership.
Ben Earl and Rotimi Segun also scored before the break, with Warriors' only points coming from the boot of Fin Smith.
Worcester struggled to build on their morale boosting semi-final Premiership cup win on Wednesday and lacked energy as the away side cruised to victory but remain a place above bottom after Bath were thrashed by Gloucester at Kingsholm.
It was a blistering start from the away side, who scored three tries in the opening 18 minutes of the contest.
First, Max Malins crossed from close range after sustained pressure on the Worcester line just five minutes in.
Fin Smith slotted a penalty to reduce the gap but Saracens were gifted a second try after 15 minutes.
A wayward Worcester lineout in the Saracens half bounced up into Ben Earl's arms and the England flanker had an empty 50 metres of space to run into and dot down.
Just three minutes later the visitors had a third as a close range lineout eventually found Rotimi Segun on the wing and he touched down for the try.
There was an ominous feel to the game but the home side did rally in the final 10 minutes and two Smith penalties reduced the lead to eight points at half-time.
After the break it was all Saracens and they secured the all important bonus-point just 90 seconds after the restart as Malins darted through a gap in midfield to stretch over for his second of the afternoon.
A brilliant looping pass from Elliot Daly provided Malins with his third but his best of the lot came with ten minutes left of play.
He timed his run to perfection and ran straight through the Worcester defence before gliding over the line with complete ease.
There was some time left for Warriors to take something from the game as winger Tom Howe scored in the corner but it was nothing but a small consolation.
