EVESHAM United manager Paul West wants his players to shut out what is going on around them in British Gas Business Division One Mid-lands and concentrate on giving promotion their best shot.
The Robins, who beat Dunstable 1-0 last Saturday, topped the table for 72 hours until Leamington won 2-0 at Chasetown in mid-week.
But West's men, currently unbeaten in four games, have games in hand on their fellow promotion chasers and have built a firm foundation for a title challenge.
The manager wants them to stay focussed and ignore the results of other teams in the shake-up.
He said: "We have to concentrate on what we are doing.
"It was nice to win on Saturday and put three points on the board and to find ourselves top. That was superb and we had a good drink on that. But we are not naive eno-ugh to think you win anything at this time of the year.
"The players can't be worrying about what other people are doing. If someone can improve on what we do we will hold our hands up but we are not looking for any favours. We will take care of the games ourselves."
On Saturday, Evesham visit a Willenhall side who drew 1-1 at Leamington last weekend (3pm) and West added: "The last thing we will be is complacent and we treat every team with the respect they deserve."
Gary Hay has a groin complaint but could start up front with Mark Owen, who has been on the bench of late.
