STOURPORT Swifts boss Neil Hunt is planning to put a new spine into his side after two disappointing displays in a week.
Stourport beat Malvern Town 2-1 last weekend but Hunt was far from happy with the performance and then they lost 5-0 to Kidderminster Harriers in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup.
Hunt has put in seven-day notices for a central defender, central midfielder and a striker as he looks to mould the Walshes Meadow squad into how he wants it.
But before the Swifts chief can bring in new faces he has to let players go and Hunt has released striker Craig Marshall ahead of Saturday's British Gas Business Division One Midlands home clash with Woodford United (3pm).
"At the moment I feel that there are only five or six players who are good enough," Hunt said.
Simon Fitter is set for his Swifts debut after joining from Evesham United, while keeper Chris Jay is suspended.
