STOURPORT Women's firsts won a nine-goal thriller aga-inst Boots 5-4 in the league.

The hosts had taken a 4-2 lead by half-time but Boots battled back to draw level, before captain Fran Moss secured a vital win by scoring late on.

The hosts had fallen behind in the second minute, before Melissa Kennedy bagged a leveller.

The visitors edged ahead after a counter-attack and forced Stourport to raise their game, with Kennedy, Sarah Cavendish and Kerry Walker hitting the back of the net to hand the hosts a 4-2 lead.

Two quick-fire goals in the second period allowed Boots to draw level but Moss made sure Stourport won the match when she slotted home from a short corner.

The second team defeated Bournville's second string 6-0, with goals for Teresa Moss, Lucy Mattocks, Alex Totney, Louise Bagnall and Hannah Corcoran.

The thirds came fron behind to defeat Droitwich seconds 3-2 in the Worcester-shire League Division Two.

Georgina Hingley bagged an equaliser just before half-time and Jen Peniket put her side ahead after the break from a short corner.

Droitwich levelled the scores but Gemma Brookes scored from close range to secure victory for Stourport.

The fourths thrashed Worcester fourths 9-0, with Rosie Connolly (3), Chris Corcoran (2), Jade Marshall-Walker (2), Caroline Wilson and Sara Jennings all on target.
