CHRIS Smith played 70 minutes for Worcester City's reserves as they drew 1-1 at Hednesford Town last night.
The City defender, returning from an ankle injury, was joined by mainly academy players although fringe midfielder Gary Walker started and went off with a twisted ankle.
Hednesford went ahead on 39 minutes through Andre Tulloch but City equalised in the 67th minute through Sam Tyack.
In the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup semi-finals, City will host Kidderminster Harriers who beat Stourport Swifts 5-0 in the first round last night.
