PINVIN United defied the league structure in the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League to reach the last four of the Knock-out Cup.

The Division Three side dominated against Division One Broadway United with Alexander scoring all their goals in a 4-0 victory.

Ambassador also progressed with a 3-1 win at Honeybourne Gate Inn, while Bretforton Old Boys beat Peopleton by the same margin with Simon Brain scoring twice.

The only Division One match saw Gardeners Arms record a six-goal win at Evesham WMC with doubles from Griffiths and Haughty.

Mickleton Rangers moved to the top of Division Two with a comfortable 5-1 win at Badsey Recreation, Rangers scoring through Robinson (two), Tustin, Tye and White.

Bredon upset the form book to win 5-2 at Cidermill, while Tewkesbury Town and Offenham Rovers shared four goals. Town led through Kavanagh and Goodwin before Rovers hit back with goals from Burgess and Milan.

In Division Three, Defford & Besford United dented Eckin-gton's promotion hopes with an odd goal in seven win. Taylor (two), Morton and Barton scored for Defford with the visitors replying through Bostock (two) and Colwell.

Leaders Golden Cross moved closer to promotion with victory at Tesco United.

Ashton won 4-1 at Bengeworth Sports with goals from Nicholas (two), Gregg and Haines. Broadway United reserves led with goals from Phelps and Hope before a Semke double earned Stour Excelsior a share of the spoils.
