WORCESTER Wanderers dropped a lead as they fell 20-12 at Dunlop in Midlands Four West (South).
The Coventry side preserved their unbeaten home run after a late kick-off following a no-show from the planned referee.
Wanderers took the game to Dunlop, dominating territory and possession, and forged ahead on 10 minutes. After a ruck inside the Dunlop 22', Greg Fincher broke and passed to Mike James who ran in under the posts. Geraint Perkins converted.
Wanderers were starved further points by solid defence which denied Chris Jenkinson a try, while Perkins missed a penalty. In the second-half, roles were reversed as fired-up Dunlop applied pressure.
Ten unanswered points saw them deservedly take the lead but Wanderers came back with an excellent team try.
Andy Hurn scored in the left-hand corner after an assist from Phil Shore but James missed the conversion.
Both teams attacked at every opportunity but Dunlop bagged a controversial penalty try.
A Wanderers attack then broke down and Dunlop sealed their victory with a drop-goal.
Wanderers Seconds maintained their unbeaten league record with a fine 34-19 win at Woodrush with Roger James contributing 16 points, including two tries.
