IN a scrappy game, Stourport Swifts took all three Southern League Division One Midlands points after the woodwork denied Malvern three times.
A free-kick by Malvern was played into area in the fifth minute, but Lee Hooper's shot hit the bar.
Stourport then took the lead in the 24th minute when a corner was headed home by Peter Wood. Four minutes later, Ed Lyons' shot was saved by Stourport's keeper Christopher Jay.
Malvern equalised in the 40th minute when the ball was played over the visitors' defence to Hooper, who steadied himself and fired in off the post.
Just before the break, a free-kick fell to Hooper but his shot was saved by Jay.
The second-half started in cagey fashion with neither side making inroads into the opponent's box and it took a 25-yard shot from Duncan Willetts into the top corner to regain Stourport's lead.
Malvern continued to attack and Hooper put Lyons through but his shot went wide and, five minutes later, the former picked up the ball in the area and shot against the cross bar.
Five minutes from the end, Jamie Hyde took a 35-yard free-kick which hit the post but no Malvern player was following up.
