BROMSGROVE Rovers scored a goal in each half to seal victory at Hemel Hempstead Town in the Southern League Premier Division.
The victory, which extended Rovers' unbeaten run to seven games, was provided by strikes from Sam Alsop and former Worcester City man Chris Cornes.
The hosts had to play the majority of the game with outfield player Paul Edgworth in between the sticks after goalkeeper Ian Brown was injured in a clash with Cornes and couldn't continue.
Edgworth did well in goal, but was helpless when Alsop was set up by Kevin Banner after 24 minutes. Hemel kept battling, but faded as the game went on and Cornes tapped-in Rovers' second goal.
