WORCESTER Warriors stormed to their first Guinness Premiership win of the season with a 25-5 success over Bristol at Sixways.
But like so many times this season they had to come from behind after Bristol's Luke Arscott scored a tenth minute try.
A Loki Crichton penalty made it 5-3 at the break and three more points from his boot gave Worcester the lead four minutes into the second-half.
There was no looking back after that with Pat Sanderson, Greg Rawlinson and Dale Rasmussen all crossing the Bristol line with Crichton making two conversions.
It was a great weekend too for Worcester City.
Despite their injury problems, they inflicted the first home Blue Square North defeat of the season on Southport with a 1-0 success.
Loan-signing Jon Munday scored the all-important goal after 74 minutes. But it was goalkeeper Cameron Belford who was the City hero with a string of fine saves.
Kidderminster Harriers' Jekyll and Hyde season continued with disappointing 1-0 defeat at bottom-of-the-table Droylsden.
Jody Banim scored the Blue Square Premier strugglers' winning goal to give them only their third win of the season.
Worcester Wolves ended the group stages of the British Basketball League Trophy with a 100 per cent record after a comfortable 114-98 victory over Team Birmingham Panthers at the University of Worcester.
