SEVENTEEN Pershore High School students across years nine to 12 competed admirably in terrible cross-country conditions at Bredon Pull Court School.
Eight students finished in the top eight and have qualified for the county meeting at Hereford Racecourse on Saturday, February 2, in their respective age categories.
There were tremendous achievements against lots of competition with 57 in the intermediate girls' race and 110 in the boys' competition.
Results: junior girls: Kat Clasen (3rd), Abi Pallet (6th), Amy Stock (11th), Ella Gibbons (13th), Eleanor Hennerley (15th); junior boys: Josh Carr (4th), Ed Surman (13th), Jordan Brant (14th), Jack lambert (22nd): intermediate girls: Jo Train (1st), Molly Browne (15th); intermediate boys: Nathan Jones (4th), Adam Gordon (6th), Ben Carr (29th); senior girls: Hannah Train (1st); senior boys: Scott Law (3rd).
