ABBIE Wallis and Abbey Weston bagged goals as Droitwich Spa Wildcats Girls Under 10s booked their place in the Mercian League Cup semi-finals.
Wildcats defeated Pershore Town 2-0 with Wallis bursting through after only two minutes to beat the advancing keeper and give them a dream start.
Wildcats soon doubled their lead as sweeper Casey Homer found Wallis who beat several defenders and whipped in a fine cross for Weston to score.
Georgia Howells almost made it three just before the break when she fired wide.
Wildcats played good football in the second-half but great defending kept them out. Lucy Loach and Imogen Alps went close before Bobbie Dutton struck the post.
Midfielder Dutton was player-of-the-week but both teams played well in difficult, heavy conditions.
Meanwhile, high-flying Worcester Colts Under Eights stormed to a 6-2 win over Kinver Colts in the Stourport Youth League.
Reece Warmsley, Cameron Mathewson and Robert Garton netted braces.
UNDER 12s: Dan Colbourne and Lewis Platt scored hat-tricks as Worcester Colts beat Mostyn Rangers 10-0 in the cup.
Goalkeeper Sam Hawker was on target as well.
