THREE of the four surviving Midlands clubs in the English Clubs Colts Cup have been given home draws in the fifth round which is due to be played on or before Sunday, February 24.
Dudley Kingswinford, who beat Market Bosworth 10-0 in the fourth round, will have home advantage against Doncaster with Nuneaton also entertaining opponents from the North in Huddersfield.
Worcester Wanderers will also be at home to the fourth surviving Midlands club Bed-ford Blues who are the defending champions.
Bedford reached the fifth round with a 29-0 win over their near neighbours Bedford Athletic at Goldington Road last Saturday.
In the English Clubs Colts Plate, Olney or Earlsdon will have home advantage against Midlands rivals Hinckley in the fifth round which is also scheduled to be played on or before February 24.
But Old Coventrians and Kenilworth both face away trips. Old Coventrians, who beat Oadby Wyggestonians 22-5, will play the winners of the Westoe v Driffield fourth round tie and Kenilworth, 10-5 winners against Northampton Old Scouts in the last round, have been paired with Blay-don.
The English Clubs Colts Cup is organised and administered by the East Midlands RU and was introduced for the 1997/98 season as part of the East Midlands' Centenary celebrations. The Plate competition was introduced in 1999.
