SOPHIE Wood and Cheryl Lawson were among the scorers as Worcester Women's Firsts took on Gloucester City and Cheltenham in a triangle match.
They found Gloucester to be challenging opposition but started with pace and confidence.
Precise passing from Elaine Shepperd and Hattie Lloyd set up the first goal with Wood tapping in on 10 minutes.
A superb individual goal gave Worcester the second soon after and they defended well up to half-time.
In the second period, they took on Cheltenham and controlled to play controlled hockey with Lawson netting a reverse-stick shot in a 1-0 win.
Worcester Seconds defended lethargically early on and paid the price in a 6-2 home defeat to Bridgnorth.
They scored when Julie Harwood showed off some silky skills and eventually woke up with some positive play in the second-half. Claire Hayes scored a second goal by turning in Harwood's strike and the team continued to work hard without reward.
The thirds fielded a changed side for a 2-2 friendly draw with Kidderminster.
They were slow to settle, conceding a fifth-minute opener and relying on keeper Georgie Thornton's saves.
But Worcester equalised through Immi Whelan and kept up the pressure with Helen Reeves and Pippa Lewis impressing.
Kidderminster regained the lead from a short corner but Annabel Guest tapped in a Charlotte Angell cross to level again.
Worcester defended well and were disallowed a goal in the dying minutes.
Youngsters Amy Hyles, Sarah Conway and Becky Donnelly were outstanding.
