WORCESTER Wolves must beat Guildford Heat for the first time in their history to make the British Basketball League Trophy final.
The University of Worcester-based side face last season's BBL champions Heat in the first semi-final at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, on Saturday, February 2, at 3.30pm.
Newcastle Eagles tackle the yet-to-be-decided Group One winner, either Milton Keynes Lions or Cheshire Jets, in the second match at 6pm.
Worcester's first time in the semi-finals caps a tremendous run of form but Heat, Britain's representatives in European basketball this season, defeated them 108-89 earlier in the season.
Head coach Skouson Harker said: "All of the teams left in the competition will be tough to play. We go into the game with optimism and are excited but we know that we will have to play well to make the final."
Tickets for the game can be purchased via Wolves by contacting general manager Susie Hart on 01905-855140 or emailing s.hart@worc.ac.uk.
The cost is £12 for adults,£8 for juniors and £35 for a family ticket which caters for two adults and two juniors.
Tickets can also be purchased at the home game with Birmingham Panthers on Friday at the University of Worcester (7.30pm).
Any fans who wish to travel by coach with the club can do so for £10 per person but seats are limited so there is a need to book early.
