FORMER Worcester Wolves combo-forward Trayvon Palmer has joined NBA franchise Detroit Pistons on a 10-day contract.
Palmer, an ex-scholar from Chicago State University, has been playing for the Pistons' NBA G-League affiliate side - Motor City Cruise - this season and has been averaging 11.1 points, six rebounds and is shooting 42.4% from three in 14 games.
The 6-foot-6 wing forward went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft before joining Worcester in August 2017 for the 17-18 season.

But now he will finally get his chance to grace the NBA, albeit on a short contract, as the Pistons look to handle what can be described as a 'covid outbreak' within the franchise.
They have had eight players enter health and safety protocols within the last week and as a result, have had to hand out a number of 10-day contracts to fill their roster.
