WORCESTER Wolves second team will head to Manchester next month looking to pick up the National Shield after a dramatic semi-final 80-77 victory over Bradford Dragons.
Tying 77-77 at the University of Worcester with only seconds of overtime remaining, Tom Griffiths hit a superb three-pointer to snatch a fantastic win for the young second-string side.
They will now face Derbyshire Arrows in the National Shield final on Sunday, February 17 in Manchester.
