KIDDERMINSTER Harriers grabbed a last-gasp winner to see off plucky strugglers Farsley Celtic in a tense Blue Square Premier clash at Aggborough.
Manager Mark Yates' side had not played at home on a Saturday for two months but they gave the home fans something to shout about when Russ Penn headed a 94th-minute winner.
Harriers had battled back from a goal behind thanks to James Consta-ble's leveller but had struggled to grab the winner until the final min-ute.
Yates made two changes from the side that drew at Weymouth in the FA Trophy last week, recalling veteran right-back Jeff Kenna and winger Simon Russell.
From the start the hosts piled the pressure on Farsley, who had only won one game in their last 11.
Russell was looking dangerous do-wn the right wing and he sent in a cross that just eluded the late-arriving Penn.
The wide-man had a shot blocked by Amjad Iqbal, before Celtic keeper Curtis Aspden did well to turn around Andy Ferrell's goal-bound shot.
But the strugglers stunned Harriers in the 17th-minute when Damien Reeves took advantage of Michael Blackwood's error to put them ahead.
The left-back slipped on the hal-fway line as he tried to control Mat-thew Lawlor's clearance and allowed the striker to stride goalwards and beat keeper Scott Bevan.
Harriers looked shell-shocked by the goal but they continued to dominate the game and carve out half -chances.
The visitors almost stunned Har-riers by doubling their lead at the start of the second half.
Roy Stamer was getting the better of Kenna down the left and he saw his looping cross-shot hit the post.
Bevan got down well to turn around Jamie Knowles' low 20-yard drive moments later.
But the hosts dusted themselves down and piled the pressure on Farsley. It paid off when Constable accepted Michael McGrath's pass, skipped past his marker and beat Aspden from the edge of the area in the 51st-minute.
Harriers continued to probe for a winner, with Penn flashing a fierce effort across the area, while Russell shot just wide of the left post.
Celtic substitute Andy Watson was-ted a golden chance to condemn Har-riers to defeat when he saw a strong chance fly agonisingly wide in the 88th-minute.
In the dying seconds, Harriers bagged a dramatic winner. Kenna sent in a cross from the right and Penn beat Aspden with a brilliant looping header that completely fooled Celtic's shot-stopper.
Harriers (4-4-2): Bevan 6; Kenna 5; Creighton 6; Whitehead 6; Russell 7; Constable 7; Penn 6; Blackwood 4; McGrath 6 (Bennett, 68mins, 7); Ferrell 6; Christie 6 (Richards, 50, 6).
