HARRIERS' manager Mark Yates praised his side's spirit after they defeated Farsley Celtic 2-1 at Aggborough on Saturday.
Russ Penn's 94th-minute winner made sure that Harr-iers are still in the hunt for the play-offs in the Blue Square Premier.
An error by Michael Bla-ckwood had allowed Celtic to take the lead but Harriers plugged away and James Con-stable grabbed the leveller, before Penn's looping header in the fourth minute of injury time secured all three points.
Yates said: "We said to the players before the game let's try and put on a performance, pass the ball properly and create chances. At last we sho-wed some never say die attitude.
"I thought we were excellent. We did enough to win the game but we made an error that nearly cost us two points.
"The players stuck at it and created lots of chances but they weren't quite falling for us.
"It was great to see James get his name on the scoresheet and Russ popped up with a brilliant winner.
"I thought the attitude of the players and their spirit and their willingness to work for each other was exceptional.
"We're not where we want to be in the league but if the players keep the same attitude then we have a chance of making the play-offs."
