PEGASUS Juniors fell to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Highworth Town in the Hellenic Premier Division.

Pegasus got the ball into the opponents net twice and were awarded a penalty kick but still left the match empty handed.

The hosts thought they had broken the deadlock in the 38th-minute when Ben Price fired the ball past keeper Ian Gill, but it was ruled out for handball.

Matt Saye fired the visitors in the lead late in the first period after an error from Fergie Harrison.

Chris Mortlock found the net for Pegasus just after the hour but the referee had already blown for a penalty, but Cory Hyde's weak spot-kick was well saved by Gill.

Pegasus looked for an equaliser but to no avail.
