RELIEVED, disappointed and delighted - just three words that summed up Richard Dryden's feelings after watching his side battle back to earn a point on Saturday.
The Worcester manager was relieved after seeing his side haul back a two-goal deficit, disappointed not to have won the match and delighted with the way his injury-hit side performed.
"We passed them off the park," Dryden said. "I was delighted with the display in difficult conditions and we deserved to win the game.
"We kept going right until the final whistle and could have sneaked the win."
Adam Webster's ankle injury forced the striker to sit out the second period and left the St George's Lane chief with plenty to ponder in respect of his striking resources.
"Adam took a bad knock on the ankle but it's too early to say how long he will be out," Dryden admitted.
"It is obviously something we could do without in the light of our current injury problems and Craig (Wilding) also missing."
One plus point for the manager was the display of teenage striker Matt Dinsmore who gave notice of his skill and work-rate, especially in the first-half.
"No one from Workington will have known about Matt but he certainly gave them plenty to think about," Dryden added.
"He did lose his way a little bit in the second-half but he could so easily have snatched a winner.
"It also showed that you don't need a big guy up front to cause opponents problems as Workington had plenty today even when we had to make the change at half-time."
The Worcester boss was also full of praise for Emeke Nwadike after his skipper played a starring role in his team's comeback.
"He's not been well all week but he showed great determination to get into those forward positions like he did to get the goals and he was unlucky not to come up with the winner," the City boss added.
