WORCESTER Warriors maintained their 100 per cent winning record in the European Challenge Cup Pool Two with an impressive seven-try 46-0 mauling of Bucuresti at Sixways.
Warriors had already guaranteed themselves a place in the last eight of the competition. But this bonus point victory over their Romanian visitors gives them a home quarter-final on the weekend of April 4/5/6.
Highlight of the match was a spectacular solo try by All Black wing wizard Rico Gear.
Worcester City skipper Emeke Nwadike scored twice in the last 12 minutes to rescue a point for his side in the Blue Square North clash with Workington at St George's Lane.
Nwadike was then denied a hat-trick when his late strike was ruled out for offside. Matt Dinsmore was also thwarted in stoppage-time when his goal-bound shot was blocked by the Workington goalkeeper's legs.
Workington had taken an 11th minute lead through Jonny Wright and Graham Anthony had made it 2-0 on 63 minutes.
Kidderminster Harriers left it late to clinch a 2-1 Blue Square Premier win over Farsley Celtic at Aggborough.
The match was in the fourth minute of injury-time when Russell Penn headed the winner.
Farsley had taken a 17th minute lead, but Kidderminster's leading goalscorer James Constable equalised six minutes into the second-half.
