MERCIAN Festival Junior League Under 11s Division Two title hopefuls Falcons Youth maintained their bid with a 3-0 win at Worcester Wizards.
Falcons broke the deadlock against third-placed Wizards with a clinical finish from striker Dion Francis.
They settled and soon added a second through Liam Edwards after a Liam Shone corner.
Wizards came close before the break but the Falcons' defence was impressive.
Kyle Jakeman did well in goal and Elliot Ball tackled like a terrier.
Falcons were on the back foot early on in the second period but survived the pressure.
At the other end, Scott Grinnell and Jack Dennehy were only denied by brave goalkeeping.
Debutant Josh Cox also shone on the right with exciting runs and Mac Austin beat three players to score the third goal following Grinnell's pass.
UNDER 13s: Worcester Raiders steamed to a 15-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Kempsey Colts, jumping back into third spot in Division Two.
Joe Fowles was the goal hero as he cracked his side's first five inside a 20-minute spell.
Striker Oli Gladstone closely followed with four goals, including a penalty.
The visitors did manage to threaten but man-of-the-match and keeper Adam Meek smothered both attempts.
Raiders found Kempsey keeper Mitchell Hobbs in superb form but further goals were added by Jack Dent, Luke Trainer, Tom Handley, Faruq Gbadamosi, Imran Phillips and Aaron Davis.
