PEOPLE are being invited to see a demonstration of a little-known Olympic sport tomorrow.
Stourport Synchronised Swimming Club's girls will be putting on the display at Stourport Leisure Centre from 5pm which is free to watch.
The club are keen to recruit new members and also raise money so the current synchronised swimmers can start entering competitions.
Sue Law, mother of several of those swimmers involved, said: "The club is quite new and offers girls who have reached the top of the swimming awards with an alternative to club swimming.
"My girls, like many others, like to dance, swim underwater, do handstands and somersaults, not swim length after length.
"I had my doubts about synchronised swimming but have to say that my daughters thoroughly enjoy this sport and, without it, they would have given up swimming.
"I believe this is an extremely good sport to promote in the light of the current worries about obesity and should be more widely supported and encouraged."
