WITH the fear of ending up in mid-table obscurity, Kidderminster Harriers know they must see off the likes of Farsley Celtic if they are to revive their slim play-off hopes.

The West Yorkshire side head to Aggborough tomorrow (3pm) with Harriers boss Mark Yates determined to pick up their first win since New Year's Day.

Last weekend, Harriers were held to a goalless draw in the FA Trophy at Blue Square Premier rivals Weymouth.

While Tuesday night's replay fell foul of the weather, the Aggborough chief is hopeful tomorrow's clash won't go the same way.

"The pitch is looking good at the moment," Yates said. "Although the forecast is not very good, we are hopeful that it will be OK.

"We were disappointed that we could not finish the job against Weymouth and look forward to the next round."

Farsley are currently sitting in the relegation places in the Blue Square Premier, having won promotion from Conference North last term.

When the two sides met in September, Kidderminster were forced to settle for a draw.

"We know that we need to get three points against Farsley, but it won't be easy - they held us at their place earlier in the season," Yates said.

Kidderminster are hopeful of welcoming back veteran defender Jeff Kenna with the former Republic of Ireland international now recovered from a hernia operation.

Yates is also hopeful of having two senior keepers with Dean Coleman fully fit again after injuring his knee in a motorbike accident.

Farsley's Amjad Iqbal is available after suspension and may line up in midfield alongside Craig Bentham, who has impressed since joining on loan from Bradford City earlier this month, while there is an injury doubt over Stephen Downes (ankle).

With only two weeks of the transfer window remaining, Yates says he does not expect any players to come or go before tomorrow's clash.

"We missed out on one lad (Nottingham Forest defender Brendan Moloney) last week but that has been it at the moment," he added.
