AN own goal from Richie Colwell handed Leamington the points at Walshes Meadow.
Colwell turned the ball past keeper Chris Jay on 63 minutes following a cross from Martin Thompson to see the visitors go to the top of British Gas Business Division One Midlands.
The early stages of the match were untidy and saw five yellow cards dished out.
Leamington were first to make their mark when Adam Cooper fired over from a corner after just nine minutes.
Stourport's best chance of the match came two minutes before they fell behind, Craig Webb having his strike turned over for a corner by Richard Morris.
Once Leamington were ahead, it took a fine save from Jay to stop Thompson increasing that lead on 75 minutes.
Swifts had a chance to salvage a point in the closing stages but substitute Craig Marshall failed to make contact with the ball from fellow replacement Richard Burg-ess's cross.
