EVESHAM United have confirmed the signing of former Hereford FC striker Mike Symons from Weston-Super-Mare.
Symons has experience at National League Level with Forest Green Rovers and also had spells with Gloucester and Worcester City.
The marksman signed for the Bulls during their first season since re-forming as Hereford FC and helped them to win three league titles.
Symons joined Weston in December 2019 but has now moved onto The Robins in search of more regular football.
Weston manager Scott Barlett said: "Symo has quite simply been brilliant to work with, I didn’t want to let him go but appreciate where he is in his career and his desire to play a bigger role within a team.
"He’s been great for us, especially in that first season. His partnership with Brad Ash and James Waite kickstarted us into a run that I think would have seen us into the Playoffs.
"The last two seasons have robbed him of some games as he comes towards the end of his brilliant career and I wasn’t going to stand in his way of regular football at Evesham.
"Of course we wish him well."
On his time at The Optima; Symons added: "It’s been a pleasure to play for Weston-super-Mare AFC.
"Thank you to everyone involved at the club and good luck for the rest of the season."
